Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the youth of the state have the potential, energy, ability and talent inside them. If industrialists and business institutions train them work, they will reap profit for their establishment. Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana is made keeping in mind the interests of business establishments and youth alike. This will provide an opportunity for youth to learn work and will ensure availability of skilled man-power to commercial establishments. Madhya Pradesh will progress with the successful implementation of the scheme. The abbreviated form of the Seekho-Kamao Yojana is S.K.Y, which can be inferred as sky. Youth should come forward, join the scheme, fly high in the sky and make their life successful and meaningful. I will not let the dreams of the youth die at any cost. A bird gives wings to its children, not a nest, I am doing the same and that is why the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana has been implemented. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the state-level programme of launching the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana at Rabindra Bhawan. He inaugurated the scheme by registering ITI pass Shri Raj Kushwaha on the portal of the scheme himself.
Industrial groups joined as well
Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. All the colleges, schools and technical education institutes of the state virtually connected with the programme. Technical Education, Skill and Employment Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Meena Singh, Culture and Tourism Minister Sushri Usha Thakur, Khajuraho MP V.D. Sharma were specially present. Officials of Tata Projects, Volvo-Eicher, Sun Pharma, Trident, Vardhman Textile and Sagar Group also participated in the programme. Students of various educational institutions were present at the state level launching of the scheme.
My love, heart and affinity is with the youth
In an overwhelming conversation with the youth, Chief Minister Chouhan told them ‘I love you’ and said that the relationship between me and you is not of a Chief Minister and student, I have a bond of love, heart and affinity with you. It is a relation of affection and love. It is our resolve to create a better future for you people. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is dedicated to nation building. The pride of the country has increased under his leadership. He is working for every area. The state government will leave no stone unturnedto ensure a better future for the youth of the state. Many steps have been taken in the field of school education with the aim of providing better education to the students. Regular teachers are being arranged by ending the Karmi culture. Arrangements have been made for better and regular education by providing scholarships, free textbooks, laptops to meritorious students, cycles to girls going to study in other villages. This year, e-scooties will be given to the students who have secured first position in class 12th in schools.
Extensive activities continue for youth employment and self-employment
Chief Minister Chouhan said that efforts are on at various levels to provide employment to the youth. On Independence Day, it was said that one lakh government jobs will be filled in a year. Till now 55 thousand recruitments have been made and before next 15 August more than one lakh government recruitments will be made. Loans for self-employment have been arranged for employment under them Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, Mudra Scheme, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme etc. Youth can work on their own start-ups. So far 2800 start-ups are working in the state. Every possible effort are on to encourage investment on the land of the state. A commitment of investment of approximately15 lakh 42 thousand 550 crore in the state has been expressed by the industrialists. A large number of employment opportunities will be generated from these industries. Global Skill Park is being started in Bhopal to provide skilled man-power to these industries coming in the state, where youth will get opportunities for skill upgradation. Similar parks will also be started in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa and Indore.
CM Chouhan apprises about the scheme
Apprising about the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the youth in age group of 18-29 years will be eligible under the scheme. Permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh will be able to take advantage of the scheme. Rs 8 thousand will be given to class 12th pass students, Rs 8 thousand 500 to ITI passed, Rs 9 thousand to diploma passed, Rs 10 thousand to graduate and above. To provide wide employment opportunities to the youth, 700 courses have been selected. All types of industries, business establishments, service sectors etc. have been included in this. On the portal, the youth will be able to choose an activity according to their ability and interest. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also explained the process of registration in detail to the youth. He said that Aadhaar e-KYC is impenitive on the entire portal. Mobile number and e-mail ID are required for registration and bank account should be linked with Aadhaar and should be enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also solved the questions and curiosities of the youth.
So far 10 thousand 432 establishments have been linked to the scheme
Chief Minister Chouhan said that 10 thousand 432 establishments have been registered under the scheme so far and 34 thousand 785 vacancies have been identified. Along with the state, countrywide establishments outside the state are also being linked to the scheme. This is a wonderful and unique scheme of the country and world. Necessary changes will also be made in future on the basis of the feedback that will emerge from the implementation of the scheme. We will move forward with the youth and will take Madhya Pradesh to new sky highs.
Seekho-Kamao Yojana is lucky for the state – MP V.D. Sharma
Member of Parliament V.D. Sharma congratulated Chief Minister Chouhan for the gift given to the youth in the form of Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana. He said that today is a fortunate day for Madhya Pradesh. This scheme is beneficial for industrialists and youth. This will give proper platform to the youth. Industries and business establishments will be able to get suitable interns. At the beginning of the programme, a short film on Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana was also screened.
