Madhya Pradesh Chief Minsiter Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday flagged off bike rally is part of the two-day ‘Youth Maha Panchayat to start from July 23 at Bhopal.
This panchayat is held on the 116th birth anniversary of Amar Chandrashekhar Azad.
Chouhan said “I am looking forward to meeting the young minds from across Madhya Pradesh during the two-day ‘Youth Maha Panchayat’.”
“We are starting the bike rally of Youth Maha Panchayat by saluting the immortal revolutionary Chandrashekhar Azad. The youths will bring the holy soil of Bhabhra (Alirajpur district) and it will be placed at the Shaurya Smarak and will be put on ones forehead in the Youth Maha Panchayat”, he said.
He said “I wish you all the best for the success of the sacred objectives of this rally”.
Chouhan showered flowers on the bike riders and sent them for Bhavra (Alirajpur). There are 20 riders included in the bike rally.
The bike rally will reach Bhavra (Alirajpur) from Bhopal passing through several villages in different districts. This rally will return to Bhopal with the soil of the birthplace of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad.
Bhabhra now Chandra Shekhar Azad Nagar (also known as Bhavra) is one of the five tehsils of Alirajpur district.
Bhabhra is the birthplace of the famous revolutionary Chandra Shekhar Azad.
Chandra Shekhar Aazad nagar is located about 40 kilometer distance from the district headquarter.
The name of Bhabhra tehsil has been changed and it is now known as Chandra Shekhar Azad Nagar.
The main attraction in the city is the hut (home) of great revolutionary Chandra Shekhar Azad, place where he spent his childhood and then came out from here and played an important role in India’s independence struggle.
