Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that with the help of the youth, Madhya Pradesh will be transformed and taken to greater heights. Swami Vivekananda has been my inspiration since childhood and will continue to be an inspiration. His inspiration has changed my life. A youth policy has to be made together with the youth. We will launch the new youth policy in February.
Chouhan was addressing the Young Achievers Town Hall Interaction program at the Chief Minister’s residence on the 160th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (National Youth Day). He inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Young achievers from abroad also presented their views and suggestions.
Chouhan said that after meeting the youth, all my fatigue has vanished. Selfless Karma Yoga is wonderful. Reading the Gita changes life. He said that Swami Vivekananda had told the youth that they should be a storehouse of infinite power. There is no work in the world that you cannot do. As a man thinks, so he becomes. If you consider yourself weak then you will become weak. If you think strong, you will become strong. You have to move further. Set your goal. Do not rest until the goal is achieved, keep moving towards the goal. Chouhan said that success is achieved not by the lines on the hands but by the sweat of hard work.
Chouhan informed that 84 countries participated in the Global Investors Summit in Indore in which big industrialists and heads of different countries were present. 29 MoUs were signed in different sectors. It is a pleasure to inform that on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, an investment of more than Rs 15 lakh 42 thousand 514 crore will be made in the Global Investors Summit. 29 lakh employment opportunities will be created.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a new phase of progress and development of Madhya Pradesh has started from Indore. Madhya Pradesh has now become global. The whole world knows Madhya Pradesh. The atmosphere in Indore was wonderful. The growth rate of Madhya Pradesh is the highest in India. Our contribution to India’s GDP has reached 4.6 percent.
He said that I have to take Madhya Pradesh forward with your support. Today Madhya Pradesh is a surplus power state in terms of electricity. A network of roads has been laid in the states. Quality roads are being built. Irrigation schemes are being completed one after the other. He discussed several achievements. A presentation of achievements was also shown.
Chouhan said that loans have been given to more than 32 lakh youth in 12 months. We will make Madhya Pradesh a $550 billion economy and contribute to India’s $5 trillion economy as decided by the Prime Minister.
Chouhan said that Basmati rice of the state is creating ripples in Canada and America. The state has abundant wheat. The state is in a better position in terms of agricultural products. We have to promote exports. There are many schemes to make the youth financially independent.
He said that a unique initiative of CM Fellow program has been made. Our Madhya Pradesh is the emerging startup hub of the country. Full attention has been given to education, health, employment, sports and youth activities.
In the Youth Achievers Interaction program, young entrepreneurs and sportspersons expressed their views and drew attention to the problems being faced by young entrepreneurs in various fields and their suggestions. Chouhan resolved the queries of the youth and assured to consider the suggestions.
