Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that there should always be happiness and smile on the faces of sons and daughters. I will provide every facility for the sons and daughters of the region to go and play at the international level. A complete micro-plan will be prepared, so that the children of our region progress in every sport in every discipline. Sports is an integral part of life. He said that I will fulfill the dreams of my sons and daughters. Study hard and progress Mama is with you. Three things are necessary for sons and daughters i.e. sports, education and employment. Sports are essential for the joy and happiness of the youth.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing players, youth and dignitaries at the conclusion of Prem Sundar Smriti Kabaddi Tournament-2023 in Bhairunda. The Chief Minister enjoyed the Kabaddi tournament with his family and boosted the morale of the players. As many as 226 teams from the assembly constituency participated in the Kabaddi Mahakumbh. Chief Minister Chouhan said that apart from the first and second prizes, all the participating teams will now be given a prize of Rs. 11,000 instead of the earlier prize of Rs. 5000.
The Chief Minister said that along with sports, better education is also necessary. That’s why CM Rice schools have been established. The Chief Minister said that Rs. 25,000 will be given as an incentive to the students who get 70 percent in class 12th. Scooty will be given to the children who have secured the highest marks in the Higher Secondary Examination in their respective schools. An amount of Rs. 4,500 will be deposited in the accounts of the students of class VI after passing class V and students of class IX after passing class VIII who go from their village to another village for studies. Along with this, 5000 rupees will be given separately as an incentive to the daughters who get more than 60 percent marks in the 12th.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that free coaching will be provided to medical and engineering students. Along with this, the state government will pay full fees for admission in medical and engineering colleges and higher educational institutions so that sons and daughters do not face any problem for higher education.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that more than one lakh government recruitment for employment will be completed by August 15. Subsequently 50 thousand recruitments will be done again. Mama coaching classes are being operated continuously so that sons and daughters can prepare better for competitive examinations. Along with this, loans up to Rs. 50 lakh will be sanctioned to the youth for self-employment under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana.
The Chief Minister said that under the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana, youth working in various fields will be given a stipend of Rs. 8 to 10 thousand along with training. Registration is being done on the portal created for this, for the youth who want to train and the organisations who can train them. Kartikeya Chauhan also addressed the programme.
Initially, Chief Minister Chouhan blessed the players after getting their introduction. Wife of Chief Minister Chouhan, Sadhna Singh, Member of Parliament Ramakant Bhargava, other public representatives, players and sports lovers were present in large numbers.
