Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said a new Madhya Pradesh is emerging.

Chief Minister Chouhan was interacting with the citizens on Thursday after Jandarshan at Kurwai in Vidisha district. Earlier, he dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of 25 construction works costing Rs 325 crore 68 lakh. MP Shri Raj Bahadur Singh and MLA Shri Harisingh Sapru were also present.

The Chief Minister announced that the civil hospital at Kurwai would be upgraded to 50 beds. A statue of Rani Avantibai will be installed in Kurwai and a college will be opened in Pathari.

The Chief Minister said that he is determinedly working for the development of the state and welfare of the people.

The Chief Minister told the citizens that people without housing will get pucca houses and for those whose names have not even appeared in the Pradhan Mantri Awas and Awas Plus, we are launching the Mukhya Mantri Jan Awas Yojana. In order to increase the scope of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, now families that are not availing the benefits of any other scheme and are not income tax payers will also be covered.

Overwhelmed by the welcome accorded to him by thousands of women who tied rakhis at various places, Chief Minister Chouhan said that sacred relationship between brother and sister will be honoured. At present, Rs 15 thousand crores are being deposited annually in the accounts of 1.25 crore Ladli Bahana. This number will increase because applications of women in the 21 to 23 age group and women from families owning sisters have also been covered under the scheme.

The Chief Minister called upon the sisters to celebrate Raksha Bandhan on 27th saying that the sisters must join this programme. He said that Rs 1000 being given under the Ladli Bahna Yojana will be gradually increased to Rs 3000.

The Chief Minister said that the income of the sisters of Livelihood Mission will be Rs 10,000 per month.

The Chief Minister told students to study hard. He told them that today itself, he has deposited the amount of Rs 4500 each for purchasing cycle in the account of students going to study in other villages. On August 23, each son and daughter topping the Higher Secondary School will be given the amount of scooter and scooty. He said that the government is paying the fees for higher education of meritorious students. The youth will be given stipend along with learning skills under the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kaamo Yojana. Along with this, one lakh government jobs are being given and self-employment schemes are also being run.

The Chief Minister said that it is his resolve to provide irrigation water to every farm. Some time back, an amount of Rs 2200 crore has been deposited for the farmers to get rid of the interest on the loan. Now small farmers will get an amount of Rs. 12 thousand in a year by including Rs. 6 thousand under Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi and Rs. 6 thousand of Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana.

Bhoomi-pujan of works worth Rs. 325 crore 68 lakh

Chief Minister Chouhan also dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of 25 construction works costing Rs 325 crore 68 lakh in Kurwai. Among the construction works costing Rs 210 crore 93 lakh in Kurwai by the Chief Minister, construction of Kurwai Joint Sub-Divisional Officer’s office building costing Rs 11 crore 7 lakh and construction work of office building in sub-tehsil (Tappa) in Tehsil Patharia at a cost of one crore 24 lakh, construction of 6 trade ITI main buildings, 60 seater boys, 60 seater girls hostel and seven residential houses in Kurwai at a cost of 12 crore 63 lakh, construction of road length 15 km at a cost of two crore 54 lakhs from Pathari Galla Mandi to Dankhedi via Jajpon, Setpur, Khajuria, Mahuakhedi, Gehukhedi, construction of road at a cost of two crore 45 lakh from village Panawar to Khachrod assembly constituency Kurwai length three kms, construction of road at a cost of one crore 26 lakhs;\ Vidisha Ashoknagar road to Mankhedi road up to development block Kurwai length 0.70 km, construction of road at a cost of four crore 95 lakhs from village Dudhavari development block Kurwai primary school to crematorium, road construction length 5.60 kms from Ramjhiria drain via Tugar to Rusalla Banoh PWD road, costing seven crore 56 lakhs.

Similarly, Sanai to Dankhedi road and Barkheda access road length 10.07 km (under strengthening), Kurwai at a cost of three crore 98 lakhs, Kurwai to Barual via Kaithora Nahi road, 4.95 km (under strengthening), Kurwai, construction work of underground pipe canal of Mehmuda Barri Minor assembly constituency at a cost of two crore 25 lakhs, construction work of submerging bridge, culverts of Kotha barrage under Kurwai assembly constituency at a cost of 20 crore 9 lakh, construction work of CM Rise School of Kurwai at a cost of 38 crore 6 lakh, construction work of Gaudkhedi, Janjpon and Badoh colony under rehabilitation and resettlement in Kurwai assembly constituency at a cost of 32 crore 54 lakh, construction of gravel roads in 10 villages of Kurwai assembly constituency at a cost of seven crore 24 lakh, various works under RDSS scheme in Kurwai assembly constituency at a cost of 25 crore 84 lakh, the work of tap water schemes in 16 villages in Kurwai assembly constituency at a cost of 11 crore 93 lakh along with construction of a submersible bridge on the Rehti river on the route Sanai-Daankhedi in Kurwai area at a cost of one crore 95 lakh.

Chief Minister Chouhan has dedicated the construction works of Rs 97 crore 75 lakh including construction work of Government Ayush dispensary building Rojru at a cost of Rs 33 lakh, two-lane road from Udaipur Bhalbamora to Pathari Bina river at a cost of Rs 49 crore 50 lakh whose length is 28.00 km, Kulhar Bhalbamora to Mandi Bamora, whose route length is 21.28 km, at a cost of Rs. 30 crore 50 lakh, construction of 33/11 KV Sub Centre in Bareth under SSTD Scheme at cost of one crore 51 lakhs.

Similarly, establishment of 33/11 KV sub-station under SSTD scheme in Model Pathari at a cost of 2 crore 28 lakh, construction of Pathari to Jartoli MDR 03 via Chhapari Dudhawari road in Kurwai assembly constituency with a cost of Rs 8 crore 79 lakh, whose length is 13.35 km, construction of Pathari to Patra via Badoy road in Kurwai assembly constituency at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 58 lakhs, the length of which is 5.025 km and and construction of submersible bridge on Naren river from Kurwai-Bhorrasa crossing to Sareda, Rusia, Piklon Arnot Kirvaya Marg at a cost of Rs 2 crore 26 lakh are included.
