ICC India has imposed fines on Team India captain Virat Kohli. Kohli has been found guilty of violating ICC code of conduct level 1. While taking action, the ICC has imposed a penalty of 25 per cent on the match fee.
Not only this, Kohli has got 1 decimal point from ICC. In fact, the Indian captain expressed his displeasure over the decision of the umpires after the game stopped due to poor light on the third day of the Centurion Test.
On the third day of the Second Test match being played in the Centurion, kohli became very angry with the last session’s play. During the match, rain first disrupted the game, but when the game started again after the rain, then the game stopped after 5 overs.
The field umpires stopped it due to poor light. Due to that, captain Virat Kohli got out of the ground in anger and went straight to the match referee Chris Broad’s room. Kohli expressed his displeasure when the game was stopped in front of the referee.
