The state administration ordered 1.5 lakh government primary and upper primary schools throughout the state to resume on Thursday, July 1, despite a drop in the number of new Covid-19 cases.
Although the schools will remain open for administrative work for instructors and staff, pupils will not be permitted to enter until additional directives are issued.
The directive was delivered to divisional assistant education directors and Basic Shiksha Adhikaris across the state by Pratap Singh Baghel, secretary of the Basic Shiksha Parishad. While students’ online lessons restarted last month, schools will reopen to handle admissions for the new academic year, as well as other tasks such as book distribution and maintenance and beautification.
Teachers have been invited to teach online classes from their places of employment. The Basic Shiksha Parishad has agreed to immediately deposit sanctioned money for midday meals into the accounts of children or their parents.
Teachers are expected to get the schools white cleaned on a regular basis. With the aid of community engagement and rich people, they may be able to properly maintain schools under Mission Kayakalp.
The basic education department has urged teachers to use the MHRD’s Diksha app to train themselves. Teachers must scan the curriculum and be prepared to restart online lessons for students in the future.
Teachers must have access to materials created by the State Project Directorate. Teachers will be trained in small groups of 25 individuals by the block education officer.
