The UPSC has rescheduled the Civil Services preliminary test, which was scheduled for June 27. The exam will be conducted on October 10 due to the COVID-19 situation in the region, according to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
“The Union Public Service Commission has postponed the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021, which was expected to take place on June 27th, 2021, due to the prevalent conditions caused by the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19). This examination will now be conducted on October 10, 2021 “The UPSC has informed.
The Civil Services test was also rescheduled from May 31 to October 4 last year. So far, the key written exam is over. The interview was canceled due to an increase in coronavirus cases.
Other examinations have also been suspended by the UPSC.
The test for probation officers in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization, which was planned for May 9, has been rescheduled. “As and when dates for the postponed Tests/Interviews are determined, it will be assured that candidates are given at least 15 days’ notice,” the Commission told candidates.
The Commission has also postponed enrollment for the Combined Medical Services Exam, which was set to begin on May 5.
