A man was detained today in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli district, two days after reportedly killing his wife and badly injuring his son because he was not offered salad with his dinner, according to the police.
Murli Singh, the accused, was apprehended by a police squad after he was discovered hiding in a bush, they added.
According to authorities, the guy killed his wife at supper at the couple’s home on Monday night.
They said Singh used a spade to assault his wife Sudesh and their 20-year-old son Ajay, who suffered critical injuries while attempting to defend his mother.
