As the challenge of COVID-19’s second wave grows, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held review meetings with officials, ordering them that the vaccination process be carried out smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.
The CM directed that vaccine work at all vaccination center’s proceed smoothly and that plans be in place at least one month in advance. There should be an observation room in addition to the waiting area at the vaccine center. Those that are to be vaccinated with preparation should be named at the center so that the vaccine center does not get overcrowded.
Vaccination procedures should be properly handled by a comprehensive action plan that minimizes waste.
Right from the start, Uttar Pradesh has followed an aggressive testing strategy. In the last 24 hours, a total of 2,97,327 tests have been administered in the state, setting a new high. Just 2.19 thousand experiments were carried out in rural areas.
Although 1,22,000 experiments have been performed using RTPCR. In all, 4,55,31,018 experiments have been administered in the state. The findings of the monitoring program in the villages have been positive.
The government is taking all possible measures to ensure the health welfare of the citizens of the state. The state’s average COVID-19 positivity score is 3.6%. In the previous 24 hours, this figure was 2.45 percent.
Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, there have been a total of 7,336 cases of coronavirus infection in the province. This figure is about 30,000 lower than the 38,055 cases recorded on April 24.
In the last 24 hours, 19,669 infected people have been released from hospitals since receiving care. At the moment, the state has 1,23,579 active cases of COVID-19 infection, which is 1.87 lakh less than the maximum number of active cases on April 30, 2021, which was 3,10,783. As a result, the maximum number of active cases at the moment has decreased by 69 percent compared to April 30.
