Flight activities will be affected at the Delhi air terminal for around three hours regularly for seven days between January 19 and January 26 for Republic Day flypast arrangements as no unscheduled flights will be permitted to land at the air terminal, a notification to the aviators (NOTAM) said.
While planned trips for all carriers can in any case land, the NOTAM said no unscheduled flight will be permitted to land somewhere in the range of 10.15am and 1.15pm from January 19 until January 24. On Republic Day, no unscheduled flight will be permitted to land from 7am to 1pm, and from 2pm to 6.30pm.
A comparable arrangement of limitations will likewise apply to unscheduled departures from 2pm to 7pm on January 29, the day of Beating Retreat. The limitations don’t have any significant bearing to IAF, BSF, armed force flight helicopters, or state-claimed airplane and helicopters shipping the lead representative and boss clergymen.
