Union Minister Smriti Irani greeted Chief Minister Chouhan for Madhya Pradesh topped in Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana in the country. The Union Minister appreciated the sensitivity of the Chief Minister Chouhan for the innovative schemes being run for children and women in the state.
The Union Minister said that Madhya Pradesh will become an example for other states as well.
Union Minister Irani was reviewing the schemes of Women and Child Development Department from New Delhi today. In the meeting, ongoing activities in Mission Vatsalya, Child Help Line, Mission Shakti, One Stop Centre, Shakti Sadan, Sakhi Niwas, Palna Yojana and Nirbhaya were reviewed.
Chouhan virtually attended the meeting from Samatva Bhawan convened by Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Zubin Irani from New Delhi.
Chouhan, while expressing gratitude to the Central Government for allotting sufficient funds under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, said that with the aim of reestablishing the children above 18 years of age in the society by providing them financial and educational support the Mukhya Mantri Bal Ashirwad Yojana has been launched. Necessary guidance and vocational training is provided to these children under the scheme. Along with this, they are also helped in getting employment.
Principal Secretary Women and Child Development Deepali Rastogi and other officers were present.
