With a clever repartee, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray scotched rumors about his party’s prospective coalition with the BJP. When asked about the situation, he informed reporters, “Ajit Pawar and Balasaheb Thorat are still seated next to me. I’m not leaving the house “.. “Yes, once I finish chatting with you, I will be heading to see the BJP,” he joked afterward.

“We are not India-Pakistan. Look at Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, it is like them. Our (Shiv Sena, BJP) political ways are different but the friendship will remain intact,” the Shiv Sena MP and spokesperson told news agency ANI.

“We aren’t in the same boat as India and Pakistan. It’s the same with Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. Our (Shiv Sena and BJP) political approaches are different, but our relationship will endure “According to ANI, the Shiv Sena MP and spokesman.

Mr Thackeray’s claim comes only days after BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said the Shiv Sena was “never” a “enemy.” When asked if the two former allies might reunite, Mr Fadnavis responded that “there are no ifs and buts in politics” and that a “appropriate choice” will be made in light of the situation.

The remarks of Sena and BJP leaders have reignited talk about a possible reconciliation, which was sparked by a one-on-one meeting between Mr Thackeray and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, amid tensions in the ruling alliance.

Mr Raut responded by hailing PM Modi as the country’s “top leader” and claiming “long connections” with Mr Thackeray. In an interview with NDTV, he also stated that their talk “should not lead to speculation that the BJP will form a government with the Sena.”

The Chief Minister, speaking to the media after the state assembly’s two-day monsoon session finished, claimed the BJP’s behaviour throughout the session was anti-democratic.

The Maharashtra assembly punished 12 BJP MLAs for a year yesterday for insulting and manhandling the Speaker-in-Chief as the session began. Devendra Fadnavis, the Leader of the Opposition, claimed that these are “false claims,” despite the fact that he was purportedly there during the disturbance in the cabin.

The BJP legislators conducted a fake assembly session on the steps of the Vidhan Bhavan on Tuesday under the leadership of Mr Fadnavis in protest of the suspension.

The NCP and the Shiv Sena both claim that central agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate and the CBI are being utilized to exert pressure on their MLAs and ministers in an attempt to disrupt the administration.

While Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister, and Anil Deshmukh, the former Home Minister, are both under investigation for money laundering, Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik told NDTV yesterday that he has been targeted by central authorities.

Mr. Sarnaik encouraged the Chief Minister in a letter that he defended to “make up” with the BJP to stop agents from targeting Sena politicians.
