Two persons were arrested accused of stolen JCB machine were using it by changing number plate and erased the chhasis number.
Sharad Pali (45) and Krishna Thakur (22) residents of Narsinghpur district in Madhya Pradesh were arrested by the state police accused of stolen JCB machine, according to the police.
The JCB machine is seized from them cost around Rs. 13 lakh, the police said.
The complaint was lodged by one Rafiq Mansoori about the JCB machine was stolen on January 28, 2023 from a construction site in Jabalpur, the police said.
The police searched the CCTV footage around the area of spot from where the JCB machine was stolen.
A team of cops was formed and on getting clues the team raided the house of Sharad Pali in Narsinghpur, the police said.
Sharad seeing the cops attempted to flee from the house but was nabbed, the police said.
On interrogation, Sharad revealed the hand of Krishna Thakur in stealing the JCB machine that was parked behind a house in a farm of one Murari Soni, the police said.
