On 11th April 2018, on the 149th birthday of Kasturba Gandhi (B), a program is going to be organized to pay tribute to this great personality.
In memory of various aspects of Kasturba Gandhi’s simple and disciplined personality and her contribution in the freedom struggle of the country, a program is to be organized by Madhya Pradesh Sarvodaya Mandal in Gandhi. This program is organized by the social role of ‘Ba’ and the participation of the people on their identity as an independent woman. The presence of more and more people is an opportunity to make the remembrance of ‘Ba’ exemplary in the right sense. The program will start with prayer with respect to Kasturba. Further in the program, various aspects of life of Kasturba Gandhi will be discussed and will also be described her identity as an exemplary woman.
A drama will be performed by the young artists of the Ansh Happiness Society – “Ek Yatra Baa k ghar”. Some poems written on a strong woman like her will also be read here. On this subject children will be given an opportunity to paint their thoughts through color and painting. On this occasion, Additional Director General of Police, Anuradha Shankar Singh, Sarvodaya Mandal Chairman Santosh Kumar Dwivedi and Joint Career Jury will be present especially from Ekta Parishad.
