Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the provision of land for tribal community activities in Indore and five crore rupees for the ongoing construction of a rest house. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Bhilala Community Gathering and Youth Introduction Conference held in Indore on Sunday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that honesty, diligence, commitment, and hard work are the distinct identities of the tribal community.
With these qualities, they have created a unique place in society. He stated that the tribal society has preserved its cultural heritage and traditions.
This community has adopted a lifestyle of “contentment with what is available” and lives joyfully.
This community is based on agriculture and animal husbandry. Simplicity is also a distinctive identity of this community.
He said they should not let this simplicity become a weakness and avoid any conspiracy.
Stay away from superstitions and preserve your cultural heritage and traditions. In changing times, these should definitely be safeguarded.
A community that moves away from its heritage, tradition, and culture becomes weak.
Stay connected to your roots, take each other along, and move forward. The state government will provide every possible help for progress.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the budget for the development of the tribal community has been increased.
Effective efforts are being made for the comprehensive development of this community under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Recently, the Indore-Manmad Railway Project was approved. This project will be a major aid in the all-round development of the Malwa-Nimar region. The project will also become a medium for changing lives. This project will accelerate development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that forest villages in the state will be converted into revenue villages. Full efforts are being made to free the community from deadly diseases like sickle cell anemia.
Special attention is being given to the educational and economic development of society.
For this, various schemes and programs are being implemented.
He urged people in society to come forward and take advantage of these schemes and programs.
Special efforts are also being made to improve hostel facilities. I will personally visit the hostels to inspect the arrangements.
Referring to the revolutionaries and great personalities of society, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that their deeds would be conveyed to the masses.
A grand event will be held in Dhar on November 15 to celebrate the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that on the second day of Diwali, Govardhan Puja will be celebrated with full faith and joy across the state.
In the programme, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also honored talented children from the community. The Chief Minister was welcomed in accordance with the tradition of society.
He was also presented with symbols of society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav purchased a sweater from a local self-employed youth at the stalls set up at the programme venue to promote local self-employment.
Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Savitri Thakur said that the state government is committed to the welfare of Scheduled Tribes. Continuous efforts are being made for the development and welfare of this society, as well as for the preservation and promotion of its culture and traditions.
Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan said that due to the efforts of the central and state governments, Scheduled Tribes are advancing rapidly in all fields. There is a need to make society drug-free.
Other harmful practices prevalent in society will also be eradicated. He appealed to the community to come forward, become aware, and make rapid progress by taking advantage of government schemes.
