The Delhi government on Monday launched its “Anganwadi on Wheels” initiative aimed toward fulfilling the nutritional and health needs of youngsters, a politician statement said.
The initiative will reach those children who weren’t able to reach anganwadis thanks to any reason and can provide them nutritious food additionally as fulfil their educational and health-related needs, it added.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia launched the ”Anganwadi on Wheels” on the occasion of International Girl Child Day.
“Under the initiative, the aim of the Delhi Government is to achieve even those children who are unable to succeed in the anganwadi because of any reason.”
“Children up to 0-6 years old are going to be ready to access babyhood care and education by trained anganwadi workers through these buses. Nutritious food also will run to the kids,” he said.
Delhi Minister of ladies and Child Development Rajendra Pal Gautam said the govt. is functioning within the field of ladies and child advancement on priority.
Delhi Commission for ladies chief Swati Maliwal was also present at the event.
