Technical Education Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that after the start of the Global Skill Park, skilled youth will be available according to their industry to the investors coming to the state. Along with this, youth will also get employment opportunities. Scindia was reviewing the progress of the Global Skill Park under construction at Narela Sankri.
Minister Scindia said that there are immense possibilities of employment in every sector, the only need is to develop skills. The biggest contribution in making India a developed country is the skill development sector. The Global Skill Park will include such courses which are the need of the hour. The focus will be on soft skills, aviation related courses, communication skills etc. Scindia asked various industries and establishments to talk about setting up labs in the Global Skills Park. It was also asked to collect this information that in which sector skilled manpower is needed more.
Scindia said that GSP is the dream project of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In this, advanced courses like animation gaming, cyber security, coding, robotics, data science, artificial intelligence will be included. Youth will have to be connected with new technology like AI, machine learning. Scindia instructed to complete the construction works of the park within the time limit. Additional Chief Secretary Technical Education Manu Srivastava, Director Skill Development Shri Harjinder Singh and representatives of various establishments related to construction works were present in the meeting.
