Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Amar Shaheed Hemu Kalani sacrificed his life to make India independent. Wearing a noose around his neck, he had said that he will be born again and will make India independent. If we do not worship the martyrs today , no one will come forward to sacrifice their lives for the nation. The life of the martyrs is inspiring for the new generation. Along with brave fighters, Sindh has been the land of saints. The hymns of the Vedas were composed on the banks of the Indus river. The culture of Sindh is very ancient. This society has done the work of giving many social-reformers , successful entrepreneurs and other talents. your religion , Even after leaving the motherland for the sake of culture and civilization, the Sindhi society, which has re-established itself, has given the message of merit through intelligence and hard work in the field of business. Along with the quality of hard work, the young generation of the society should not forget their culture , costumes and food habits. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the birth-centenary celebrations of Amar Baidani Hemu Kalani at BHEL Dussehra ground today.
Chouhan said that even after the expiry of the visa period, the citizens of Indus province of Pakistan settled in Indore in the last decade were not forced to return. As soon as this problem came to notice, Prime Minister Shri Modi got the provisions related to citizenship implemented. Sindhi citizens who came to India in subsequent years, including Sindhi citizens who settled in the new territory due to partition after the independence of the country, will not be allowed to cause hardship. Chouhan said for such citizens that the whole country belongs to you. Mentioning several Sindhi dishes, the Chief Minister mentioned the relationship of affinity established with the Sindhi society. Chouhan also made several announcements in the interest of Sindhi community.

Chouhan said that along with Bhopal’s Manuabhan Tekri, the statue of immortal martyr Hemu Kalani will also be established in Jabalpur and Indore of the state. Sindhi culture is the oldest culture. A museum showing its features will be built in the capital Bhopal. Norms have been laid down for providing leases to Sindhi migrants at low cost. According to this, the work of providing pattas to the eligible Sindhi displaced people will be done at different places of the state. Eligible Sindhi displaced people will be given ownership rights of land by setting up special camps.
Chouhan said that the state government had started arrangements to send the pilgrims of the state to the Indus Darshan festival held every year in the month of June at the ghats of the Indus river in Ladakh. It did not get continuity due to Corona and other reasons. This year, under the Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana, an amount of Rs 25,000 per passenger will be provided to take them to the Sindhu Darshan festival. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the budget of Sindhi Sahitya Akademi will be increased to five crore rupees annually.
Sindhi displaced will get ownership rights of land
Chouhan said at the function that fulfilling the age-old demand of the Sindhi community, the state government has decided to give special exemption in premium rates for providing pattas. According to this, free lease will be given up to 45 square meters. At present, the rate of 5 percent is applicable for land area up to 150 square meters , which has been reduced to one percent. Similarly, it has been decided to reduce the rate of premium from 150 square meters to 200 square meters from the present rate of 10 percent to one percent. For the plot of commercial use up to 20 square meters, at present the rate of 25 percent is prevalent , in this category now the new rate will be only 5 percent. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Bhopal , In the case of a plot on Sehore main road, if the market value of 1614 square feet residential area is Rs 1 crore 8 lakh, then the amount payable will be Rs 1 lakh 8 thousand only. Similarly, for 2152 square feet residential, if the market value is one crore forty four lakhs , an amount of one lakh forty four thousand rupees will be payable. Apart from this, in case of 14 lakh 40 thousand market price for a commercial shop of 215 square feet, an amount of only Rs 72 thousand will have to be paid under the provision of exemption in premium.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan started the address by addressing the present citizens , nephews and nieces in Sindhi language. Shri Chouhan also explained the specialties of various Sindhi cuisines. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan paid tribute while expressing grief over the untimely demise of late Sindhi speaking and other citizens in the Bawdi incident in Indore on Thursday.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak’s Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat said that the Sindhi community did not become refugees even after losing everything , but showed it by being a man. The name of Sindh is associated with the name of martyr Hemu. The Sindhi community has played an important role in the freedom movement , it is definitely mentioned less. Martyr Hemu Kalani had tried to overturn a train carrying weapons bound for Balochistan . Was going to suppress the movement of the revolutionaries. Martyr Hemu also knew the consequences of his work. After being caught, he did not reveal the names of his friends. He believed that the meaning of life lies in making sacrifices. His sacrifice made at a young age echoed from the Mumbai residence to the countries of the world. He gave us life by showing us the path of life. Martyrs authentically dedicate their lives to save their self. The meaning of Swaraj was explained to the citizens. Keeping in mind the unbreakable patriotism of martyr Hemu Kalani’s life, leaving narrow selfishness, try to be like him and we all have to imbibe the spirit of one society , one country.
Bhagwat said that Hemu ji believed that we will leave , we will not remain but India will definitely remain. With this ideal, patriots like Saint Kanwar Ram also came forward for sacrifice. He said that the Sindhi community had not left India. They had come from India to India only. Vedas were recited in Indus culture. We settled India but in reality the nation got divided. Even today, considering that division as artificial, people are connected with Sindh by heart. India’s association with Sindh, the region of the Indus River, will remain. Who can forget the pilgrimages there. Mr. Bhagwat said that even today, united India can be considered as truth and divided India as a nightmare. The Sindhi community knows India on both sides. The traditions of Sindh were adopted since ancient times. India should be such that it works to give happiness and peace to the whole world. There will be ups and downs ,But we will not disappear. We are capable of leading the world. You have to walk step by step with the whole society. Today’s generation should also think about who we are and what we want to become. See unity in diversity and decide the direction of life by understanding the true meaning of self.
Bhagwat also mentioned the path of welfare shown to the whole world through Dr. Hedgewar and other thinkers. He told the need for the Sindhi community to live in the Sanatani tradition and create its own identity by maintaining its customs. Such elements have to be thwarted , which incite people to quarrels. There is a need to highlight the virtues in different areas of life. Referring to the accident that took place in Indore yesterday, Bhagwat said that he got this news at the time of Gangaji’s darshan and only then he bowed down to Gangaji and also paid tribute to the deceased.

Exhibition Overview
Chouhan and Mohan Bhagwat visited the exhibition focused on the contribution of Sindhi community in the freedom struggle at the venue. Pictures of Sindhi saints , great men , freedom fighters , litterateurs , army officers and social reformers along with pictures focusing on the traditions of Sindh were also displayed in the exhibition.

Chouhan and the guests felicitated prominent personalities of sports, literature , social service , medicine, cinema and arts, including Dr. Suresh.H. Advani Mumbai, an expert in the field of bone marrow transplantation in the treatment of blood cancer in India.
