Islamic State, a hardcore Sunni terrorist organization believed to be the most dreaded of the world, finally took a severe step in Tehran’s security.

On Wednesday, the Islamic State also recorded its presence in Iran by attacking Iran’s parliament and Ayatollah Khomeini’s tomb. Of course, these attacks have happened just after the attacks on Manchester and then the London Bridge, so they will be linked to the growing world-wide activism of the Islamic State, but there is a different meaning for the Islamic State of the terrorist attack in Iran. It is fine that many of the world’s powers including the Western countries are claiming to take iron from the Islamic State, but the most active Iran against it is itself. On one hand, he is directly supporting the Shia government of Assad in Syria in the fight against the Islamic State, on the other hand it is said that he has built a Shiite militia. The only purpose of this militant organization is to protect the Shia population in Iraq and continue to squeeze the teeth of the Islamic State. But the problem of the Islamic State was that it was not able to find its lentils straight away against Iran. And now that for the first time, he has succeeded in his mission, the world will wait for Iran’s reaction.

The politics that is going on in the West Asia over Qatar nowadays may not have any direct connection to the terrorist attack in Tehran on Wednesday, but these two things together suggest that the problems of the Gulf countries are continuously complicating Is becoming more complicated. The most worrying thing is that there is no big effort to solve it. Just a little while ago, when western countries had ended the boycott of Iran, there was a hope that after the end of old distraction many equations would change. Both Iran and the United States showed softness in attitude. But the problem is that the vested interests in the old equations are so deep that there is no hope of immediate change. It is also true that expectations have been very bleak since the change in the American administration. The US government was unable to determine whether its first priority was to eliminate the Islamic State or to oust the Syrian Assad government from power. Expectations and shades were shocked by the way President Trump appeared suddenly in Saudi Arabia’s lap of the past.

It is true that the Islamic State has become a threat to the whole world at the moment, and the world must be united to fight it. It is not possible that Iran continues to fight it differently, America’s method of action is second and Russia’s strategy is somewhat third. So far this is happening and many countries are showing more against standing against each other rather than standing against Islamic State. If in Iran and America on the other hand, Russia and the United States were standing against each other on the other side of the Middle East, this would not make the child of the Islamic State even bankrupt. The need of the hour is that all these countries collide with the Islamic State together with a shared strategy. We do not have any other options at this time. And as long as it does not happen, neither London will be safe nor Tehran, proud of its strong security. The truth is that no city in the world will be safe till then.
