Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that India has a tradition of Atithi Devo Bhava. Telugu brothers and sisters are always welcome on the land of Madhya Pradesh. Chouhan was addressing the Telugu Sangamam program, an initiative to share the rich cultural heritage under the scheme “Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat” at the Chief Minister’s residence.

Sharma, Organization General Secretary Hitanand Sharma, IYR Krishna Rao, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang along with Telugu speaking brothers and sisters and other citizens were present.
Chouhan said that on behalf of eight and a half crore people of the state, I welcome the Telugu brothers and sisters who have come for Bharat Darshan Yatra under “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Yojana”.
He said that there are many similarities between the states of Madhya Pradesh and Telangana. Madhya Pradesh is a mine of diamonds. There are many tiger reserves here like Satpura, Pench, Kanha. The state is continuously moving forward in many areas including road, electricity, irrigation. This is your own state, never consider yourself separate. Always visit the land of Madhya Pradesh with intimacy and affection.
National Co-Organization General Secretary Shivprakash said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an innovative effort of Telugu Sangamam under Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat scheme. The culture of Telangana and Madhya Pradesh is being felt through this programme. In fact our culture is the same. Our spiritual tradition connects us all. India is becoming best in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi.
The founder of Telugu Sangamam Shri P. Muralidhar Rao said that Telugu brothers and sisters have come out to see India under the scheme of Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat. Today on the third day we have reached Bhopal. Coming here, it feels like we are at home. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative of Ek Bharat-Shreshth Bharat scheme is commendable. We are all one.
I.Y.R. Krishna Rao said that cultural unity is the identity of India. India has left an indelible impression of its cultural unity abroad as well. To take forward the cultural heritage, the Madhya Pradesh government has constructed Shri Mahakal Lok in Ujjain.
Member of Parliament Vishnudutt Sharma said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the initiative of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. We are proud that Telugu speaking brothers and sisters of the state have come to Bhopal on Bharat Darshan Yatra. I heartily welcome all of you.
Initially, Chief Minister Chouhan welcomed the Telugu speaking brothers and sisters by showering flowers. Telugu dance and singing performances were given by a group of 30 artistes in the programme. The guests were felicitated according to the art and culture of Telangana and Madhya Pradesh states by presenting mementos and stalls.
