Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that social work cannot run without Soni Samaj.
Soni Samaj has an important contribution in maintaining the Indian culture, he said.
Soni Samaj is a manufacturer of jewellery, he said. People have been wearing jewelery for thousands of years, he said.
Soni Samaj is known for its art, he said.
Chouhan was addressing the people of the society at Soni Mahapanchayat in Bhopal.
A large number of people including MLA Rampal Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Kailash Soni, BDA President Krishna Mohan Soni, former MLA Badrinath Soni were present on this occasion.
In the beginning, Chief Minister Chouhan welcomed the people of Soni Samaj by showering flowers and worshiped the nine girls of Soni Samaj.
Chouhan said that I see Mother Goddess in every daughter and sister. I always try to see that mother, sister and daughter move forward.
He said that he will make continuous efforts to ensure that the art of Soni Samaj remains alive and it provides employment.
To keep the arts of the society moving forward, we will set up a Swarnakala Board in the state. Orders will be issued within a week.
Chouhan talked about installing the idol of Soni Samaj’s deity Maharaj Ajmidhdevji in Bhopal.
He announced arrangements for training and honorarium of Rs 8,000 per month to the people of the society. Will also liberally provide gun licenses.
Rajya Sabha MP Kailash Soni said that Soni society is a very influential society in the state. Without this there is no rite of marriage.
Our society does the work of decorating humans and mother power. It would be great if Swarnakala Board is formed to encourage our artisans and keep the art alive.
He said that Chief Minister Chouhan is making every possible effort for the development of the state and welfare of the people. Swarnakar Samaj will always support him.
