Lok Sabha Polls: Suspended AAP leader from Punjab Harinder Singh Khalsa has joined the BJP in the presence of Union minister Arun Jaitley.
Suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader from Punjab, Harinder Singh Khalsa, on Thursday, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of Union Minister Arun Jaitley.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was launching a Lok Sabha campaign from Meerut by addressing a mega rally. In his speech, PM Modi launched a rough attack on the opposition for questioning the defense forces. He said that his government had shown the courage to conduct a surgical strike in all spheres — land, sky, and space.

PM Modi also said that the contest is between a decisive government and an indecisive past, adding that on the one side there is a strong ‘chowkidar’, on the other, a line of tainted people.
A total of 91 parliamentary seats spread across 20 states will go to polls in the first phase on April 11.
