Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman confirmed the end of the 51-hour counter terrorism operation in the Sunjwan Army camp. After conducting an aerial survey of Army Camp, he held a press conference. The Defense Minister said, “Army counter Counter Terrorist Operation ended at 10:30 on Monday morning at the Sunujwan Army camp. In this terrorist attack 5 soldiers of the army were killed and a common civilian died. The army killed three terrorists in their operation. He said that there were four reports of terrorism taking place. The fourth terrorist might be a guide and did not enter the army camp.
Defense Minister said, “The terrorists who attacked the Sunujwan Army camp were from Jaish-e-Mohammad. Azhar Masood was sponsoring these terrorists from Pakistan. The evidence related to this terrorist attack has been collected. We will hand it over to Pakistan. Even before this, evidence was given to Pakistan, but he did not take any action. Providing evidence to Pakistan has now become a continuous process. We have to prove every time that terrorists living in Pakistan behind these attacks have the hand of terrorists. Pakistan will have to pay the price of this rebuke.
