School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh today released the educational report of the districts at the Mantralaya on the basis of the work done in the districts at the primary education level.
This report has been prepared on the basis of data up to December 2023. Director State Education Centre Dhanraju S was also present on this occasion.
School Education Minister Singh said that the report prepared in the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan will play a key role in the qualitative improvement of school education.
He said that in order to ensure that the education of school going children of nomadic caste families does not get disrupted, such a card will be prepared on the basis of which children will be given admission in school if they leave one place and move to another place.
Minister Singh said that in the last two decades, concrete efforts have been made for the qualitative improvement of school education.
CM Rise School and PM Shri School are being opened in the state. Efforts are being made to provide world class facilities to the students in these schools.
Regarding the provision of uniforms for children studying in schools, he said that the work of making uniforms in 22 districts of the state is being done through self-help groups. In the remaining districts, the amount of uniform is being transferred to the bank accounts of children.
Text books will be distributed on time
School Education Minister Singh said that free text books will be distributed to children in government schools on time. Instructions for this have been given to departmental officers.
He said that efforts are also being made to reduce the dropout rate of children in Madhya Pradesh.
He said that regular communication is being ensured between parents and teachers of children in government schools.
Primary education report
It has been told in the report that the ranking of Sidhi district was at number 46 last year.
This year in December 2023, Sidhi’s ranking improved to 12th.
There has been a decline in the educational quality in Sheopur district.
Its ranking was 22nd last year, which came down to 45th this year.
This report has been prepared on enrollment and retention of children, learning outcomes and quality, teacher professional development, equality, infrastructure and facilities, good governance processes and financial management and Navbharat Literacy Programme.
