Rs one thousand 576 crore released in the accounts of 1 crore 29 lakh women on Makar Sankranti
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on Prime Minister Mod’s call, Makar Sankranti focusing on women empowerment and youth was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm in Madhya Pradesh from 10 to 15 January.
Over 1,576 crore Rs were transferred to the accounts of 1 crore 29 lakh Ladli Behnas of the state and social security pension amount of Rs 341 crore was transferred to the accounts of more than 56 lakh beneficiaries.
Under the Maa Tujhe Pranam yojana, a group of 150 girls were sent on a tour to the Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagari, Kevadiya, Gujarat. Employment fairs focusing on women and youth were also organized.
Apart from cleanliness, Madhya Pradesh leads in the country in many schemes and programmes
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the beginning of the year 2024 has brought huge achievements for Madhya Pradesh.
Indore has yet again bagged the award for cleanest city of the country in Swachh Survekshan-2023. Madhya Pradesh has become the second cleanest state in the country and Bhopal has become the cleanest capital.
Seven cities of the state have been awarded in Water Plus, 361 cities in ODF Double Plus, one city in 7-star, one in 5-star, 24 cities in 3-star and 132 cities in 1-star garbage free category. Not only in cleanliness, Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states of the country in implementing many other ambitious schemes and programmes as well.
This has been possible only by following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mantra of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas-Sabka Prayas-Sabka Vishwas.
Prompt decisions for public intrest has become the identity of state government
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the new double engine government of the state has completed 45 days of its formation today on January 26.
In this short period, the government has left a distinct impression on people’s minds by taking many prompt decisions.
A major decision was taken to provide more than 224 crore Rs to more than 4 thousand 800 labourers of Indore’s Hukumchand Mill.
Whether it is a matter of banning the use of loudspeakers contrary to the rules and norms or banning the buying and selling of meat, fish etc. in the open without a license or running a campaign to close open borewells – with these public welfare decisions taken immediately after the oath taking ceremony, the government has given a clear message that no one in the state is above the law.
The priority of the government is to instill fear of the police in the minds of goons and miscreants and to remove the fear of the police from the minds of the common man.
The decision to remove the BRTS corridor in Bhopal to facilitate the public also proved that whenever it is in the public interest, the government will not delay even a minute in taking tough decisions.
The government always fullfills its commitment
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that many new steps have been taken with the aim of ensuring cleanliness, transparency, decentralization, quick decisions, work efficiency, discipline and sensitivity at every level in the functioning of the government.
Micro planning is being done to achieve every target through departmental reviews, while on the other hand, by reviewing the development and law and order of all divisions, decisions are being taken on the spot after understanding the local challenges.
The laying of foundation stones and dedication of large-scale development works at the divisional headquarters prove that what the government does what it says.
Prioritizing public convenience, the government has decided to start the process of rationalization of the boundaries of various administrative units like district, tehsil, police station etc. Decision has also been taken to implement Cyber Tehsil Project in the entire state.
All these steps taken for good governance will prove to be a milestone in the development of Vikasit Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh will excel in terms of roads
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the construction of Narmada Pragati Path, Vindhya Expressway, Malwa Nimar Vikas Path, Atal Pragati Path, Bundelkhand Vikas Path, Madhya Bharat Vikas Path, Ring Road, Bypass, Rope-way, Flyover, Rail Over Bridge and Elevated corridors etc. in mission mode, Madhya Pradesh will excel in terms of roads.
After Sanchi Solar City, the next target is to transform 5 major tourist cities into solar cities.
The Rewa Solar Park project of the state has got a place in the Prime Minister’s book ‘A Book of Innovation’. The target is to implement the 250 MW Birsinghpur floating solar project with an investment of approximately Rs 1,800 crore on the lines of the world’s largest Omkareshwar floating solar project.
The state government is not only elevating irrigation capacity but is also ensuring full utilization of the available irrigation capacity.
The construction of the first phase of the Ken-Betwa Link Project, which is called the lifeline of Bundelkhand, will be started this year.
Research institutes will be developed in Ujjain for gram, mustard in Gwalior and millets in Dindori
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that farmers have led to the state’s development with their blood and sweat.
Resultantly, Madhya Pradesh is leading in the country in pulses production, second in food grain production and third in oilseeds production.
The establishment of Millets Research Institute in Dindori, Gram Research Institute in Ujjain and Mustard Research Institute in Gwalior will open new avenues for conservation of indigenous varieties of these crops and development of new varieties.
The new Rani Durgavati Shree Anna Protsahan Yojana worth more than Rs 100 crore has been implemented by the state government.
Under this, additional incentive amount of Rs 10 per kg will be given to the farmers producing Millets (Shri Anna).
Besides, value chain will be developed along with crop production, storage, processing, marketing, procurement and brand building.
The first hi-tech floriculture nursery of Madhya Pradesh is being established in Gwalior district at a cost of Rs 13 crore.
Provision of Rs 7,300 crore for 23 tribal dominated districts in Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyay Mahabhiyan (PM JAN-MAN)
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government has increased the tendu leaf collection rate from Rs 3,000 per standard bag to Rs 4,000 per standard bag thus benefitting more than 35 lakh tendu patta labourers of the state.
Free food grain is being distributed to 5 crore 30 lakh poor beneficiaries of the state.
So far, about 67 lakh household tap connections have been installed under Jal Jeevan Mission.
About 34 lakh poor people have been provided free treatment under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
Prime Minister Modi sparked a revolution for the overall development of special backward tribes by launching the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyay Mahabhiyan (PM JAN-MAN)on Tribal Pride Day.
With this, more than 11 lakh members of Baiga, Sahariya and Bhariya tribes living in 4 thousand 597 settlements of 23 districts in the special backward tribe dominated districts of the state will be benefited with more than Rs 7 thousand 300 crore.

The state government has decided to upgrade 55 government colleges in all 55 districts of the state as PM Utkrishtata Mahavidyalaya (College of Excellence) with an investment of approximately Rs 485 crore. Special labs are being set-up for training in robotics and coding in more than 100 schools of the state.
According to the new policy, many employment-oriented education courses have been prepared for the youth.
Decision has been taken to start a new law college in Agar-Malwa. Education along with skill development and employment together form a golden armour. 28 new ITIs have been establishedin the state, in which more than 6 thousand 700 youth will be able to get skill development training.
Provinding appointment letters to 700 people simultaneously is an innovative step by State government
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that on the eve of Republic Day, appointment letters have been provided to about 700 candidates selected through the Public Service Commission.
Generally, police verification and other investigations take four to six months, but taking an innovative step in this direction, the state government has providing appointment letters to 700 people in a single day, which is a solid example of good governance.
The results of the recruitment examinations conducted for about 28 thousand posts through the Staff Selection Board will also be declared soon and appointment letters will be provided to them.
The target is to provide employment opportunities to 90 thousand rural youth through employment fairs in the year 2024-25.
For economic empowerment of women, bank linkage of more than Rs 3,700 crore will be provided to women self-help groups in the next financial year and bank credit facility of up to Rs 1 lakh at the lowest interest rate will be provided for business through Ladli Shakti Credit Card.
GI tag for Jabalpur stone craft, Balaghat’s Waraseoni saree, Ujjain’s batik, Gwalior’s carpet and Dindori’s wrought iron is a big achievement for the state
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that 102 industrial areas and 35 MSME clusters are being developed in the state. Similarly, the number of start-ups has also increased to more than 3 thousand 700 and the number of incubators has increased to 68.

Decision has been taken to construct a Medical devices park, energy equipment manufacturing unit, PM Mitra Park and Medi City in Ujjain.
The first Medi City of the state will be established in the Social Justice Complex in Ujjain thus giving shape to Prime Minister Shri Modi’s Medi City plan.
A big plan has been made to upgrade all the technically functioning colleges including the engineering college of Ujjain.
Recently, in-principle approval has been obtained for IIT Satellite Town in Ujjain through Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This will be a big achievement for technical education.
Link project will be implemented to connect Malwa to Rajasthan
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a special link project has been made to connect Malwa to Rajasthan for irrigation.
Madhya Pradesh government is soon going to sign an MoU with Rajasthan government in this regard which will take shape by combining Parvati, Kalisindh and Chambal rivers.
A separate plan will also be made for Kapila Gaushala in Ujjain besides an action plan for the upgradation and maintenance of other huge Gaushalas of the state.
