Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the state government will conduct pilgrimage to various places related to the works of Babasaheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar under Mukhya Mantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana.
Chouhan paid a floral tributes at Babasaheb’s statue and picture of Lord Gautam Buddha on occasion of his 131st birth anniversary at Bhopal.
The State government will conduct pilgrimage to various places associated with Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar.
Chouhan was addressing the Bodhisattva Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar Samyukta Jayanti Mahotsav programme. He Chief Minister Shri Chouhan paid floral tributes at the statue of Dr. Ambedkar and the picture of Lord Gautama Buddha.
The chief minister said a grand memorial has been built in Mhow, the birthplace of Babasaheb.
Similarly other memorials of Dr. Ambedkar will be constructed.
He said no stone would be left unturned in the development of the state.
He said that Dr. Ambedkar has given a gift to all of us for he was the architect of Constitution of India, through which the country is running.
We all respect him from the bottom of our hearts, he said.
Former MLA Umashankar Gupta said the state is progressing rapidly under the able leadership of Chief Minister Chouhan.
He (the chief minister) is working hard for the welfare of the poor, he said. Chouhan assured to fulfill the various demands put forth by the committee. Committee officials and a large number of citizens were present in the programme.
