Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met renowned singer and musician Darshan Rawal who called on him at the Chief Minister’s residence.
Chief Minister Chouhan informed Shri Rawal about the provisions of the State Youth Policy.
He informed that in the youth policy, there is a provision to provide fellowship to young artistes of various genres including music and dance.
Good singers and artistes are emerging from villages and towns in the state.
A special campaign will be launched in the state to search for talents. Arrangements will be made in collaboration with the Culture Department to provide them proper platform and guidance.
The Chief Minister said that just as competitions are held at different levels of sports, similarly competitions will be held to provide opportunities to the talents of music and songs.
