The police stated on Tuesday, taking valuables from a cops house in Bhind City Madhya Pradesh, that he was doing an act to save the life of a friend and to return the stolen money.
The robbery happened at a policeman’s house, working in Chhattisgarh, while his family stays in Bhind City, Kamlesh Katare of the Kotwali Police Station assistant inspector (ASI) Kamlesh Katare said.
According to the police, the thief left behind a letter stating, “Sorry friend, it was an Emergency. If I had not done this, then my friend would have lost his life. Don’t worry, as soon as I get the money, I will return it.”
On June 30 the policeman’s wife and children had departed for the location of a relative, and after coming home on Monday night the officer reported that the room locks were broken and everything was spread out.
The burglar took a few decorations of silver and gold, adding that the family is suspected of being implicated.
A case in this respect has been lodged and further inquiries are underway, the official added.
