Another son of Bharat Maa has been martyred while competing with Pakistan’s terrorists. Rakesh was wounded during the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. He died during treatment at Military Hospital.
Fidayeen had attacked in Sunujwan in Jammu and Kashmir two days ago. During which, Rakesh Raturi (44 years old) was seriously injured while taking fighting against terrorists. He was undergoing treatment at Army Hospital, but during the period of Ella, he died. The young Rakesh Rautri originally was a resident of Pabau block of Pauri Garhwal, resident of Santkar Sain village in Bali Kandarsu. A year ago he had built a house in Dehradun Premnagar Barvala. The parents and other relatives live in the village as well. He left his wife Nanda Devi and two children Nitin and Kiran behind for the sake of the motherland.
Shaheed’s Uncle Employee Leader Shekharanand Rautudi told that Rakesh, posted in the Mahar Regiment, was admitted to the army in 1996. His education took place in the State Inter College College, Sanctuary. He came on a holiday on January 3 and went back on 9 January. His phone was not getting connected from the last three days. For this reason the family was worried, But last night they got the news of Rakesh’s martyrdom. After that the mountains of sorrows have broken upon their family. According to information, the body of martyr Raturi will reach Joulegrant airport at 2 o’clock. From here it will reach to Dehradun at his home. The funeral will be held tomorrow in Haridwar.
