A 28-year-old man was arrested accused of burnt to death his father for abusing him on returning from work in village Darshani of Jabalpur district on Wednesday.
Adesh Kol (28) was arrested for burnt to death his father Ramji Kol (62) in the house on Tuesday night, according to the police.
On interrogation the accused told his father on consuming alcohol abused him for no reason on returning to house after work in the evening.
The police said the accused got annoyed and beaten up his father brutally who fell on head, the accused found his father died bolted the house from inside and put some clothes on his and burnt.
Kunwari Bai a mother of accused failed in her attempt to stop him from beating his father and sooner she went out of the house the accuse bolted the door from inside, the police said.
Later in the morning today she called her elder son to open the door of the house on knocked the accused opened the door, the woman and her elder son found the man lying on the floor was severely burnt.
