The military on Sunday paid flower recognitions for troopers killed in an experience with assailants in Shopian area of Jammu and Kashmir.
Two Army fighters and a Lashkar-e-Taiba psychological oppressor were killed in the gunbattle in the Zainpora area of Shopian on Saturday.
“Armed force today paid accolades for Sep Chavan Romit Tanaji and Sep Santosh Yadav, who made the incomparable penance on 19 February 2022 at Chreymarg in Shopian locale,” Defense representative Col Emron Musavi said.
In a serious service at Badami Bagh Cantonment here, Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen D P Pandey and all positions gave proper respect to the chivalrous officers for the benefit of the glad country, he said.
Sepoy Tanaji, 23, had enlisted in the Army in 2017. He hailed from Lokmanya Nagar town in Thane region of Maharashtra and is made due by his mom, the representative said. Sepoy Santosh Yadav ,28, had enlisted in the Army in 2015. He had a place with Tadva Village in Deoria District of Uttar Pradesh. He is made due by his significant other, he said.
