Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav called an emergency meeting at Mantralaya here today immediately after getting informed about the tragic incidence that took place in Harda.
Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Ajit Kesari and DG Home Guard were sent to the spot.
Along with this, police force also reached the incident site.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav while talking to media representatives that the Harda incident is extremely painful.
An explosion in a firecracker factory occured.
According to preliminary information, six people have died and about 50 people injured.
A financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh will be provided to each of the families of those who died.
The injured are being treated.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an assistance of Rs 2 lakh each for the families of each deceased from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that ambulances are being sent to Harda from the surrounding areas.
The Army has been contacted to arrange helicopters.
Instructions have been given to the Medical College in Bhopal, Indore and the burn unit in AIIMS Bhopal to remain prepared.
In Narmadapuram also, arrangements have been made for the treatment of the injured in hospitals.
A green corridor is being made to bring the injured.
As soon as information was received, the concerned administrative staff was immediately activated for relief operations.
More than 50 ambulances have been dispatched to Harda.
Burn units have been put to operation immediately in the hospitals of nearby cities including Bhopal, Indore, Hoshangabad.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Government of India has also been informed about the incident.
Controlling the fire is the first priority.
All possible assistance is being provided to the injured and their treatment has been started free of cost.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that efforts will be made to ensure that the incident does not occur any more.
Orders have been given to investigate into the incident.
The Home Secretary will investigate and submit a report. The government remains fully alert. All arrangements are being made for relief.
The blast incident at the firecracker factory in Harda is heart-wrenching. Everyone is pained by the incident.
The state government stands the affected families in this hour of grief. Hamidia in Bhopal and M Y Hospital in Indore have been put on high alert. Army’s help is also being taken to bring the injured.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is watchful about the ongoing relief activities. He said that injured persons will be ensured every possible treatment.
Chief Secretary Veera Rana, Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Dubey, Principal Secretary Urban Administration and Development Neeraj Mandloi, Principal Secretary General Administration Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Chief Minister Raghavendra Kumar Singh and other officials attended the meeting.
