On Independence Day, singers Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu will be the special guests on the final episode of “Indian Idol 12.” Because the evening will feature various acts and performances, both singers will have their own segment.
Alka Yagnik will pay tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, the “Queen of Melody,” while Kumar Sanu will perform some of his most famous songs.
“I am incredibly delighted to be a part of the Greatest Grand Finale, which will be a 12-hour stint!” Kumar Sanu exclaims. This platform has come a long way and made history, and I am quite proud of it.
While I am excited to see who will be the next Indian Idol, I believe that for everything these finalists have overcome, they are all winners in their own right and in my eyes. Of course, for this particular occasion, I’ve prepared a number of performances of popular songs, which I hope the audience will appreciate.”
Alka Yagnik will perform a number of Lata’s classic songs, including “Ajeeb Dastan,” “Beeti Na Bitayi,” “Yun Hasraton Ke,” and others.
The ace vocalist describes the song as an homage to her idol, saying, “For me, Lataji is a goddess.” I consider her an idol, and it’s an honour to pay her a tribute throughout the concert.”
She sends her best wishes to Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Mohd Danish, Sayli Kamble, Nihal Tauro, and Shanmukha Priya, saying they have a bright future ahead of them.
“To me, they’re all winners. Each of them has a strong grasp of music, and their singing is outstanding. “I’m ecstatic to be a part of the Greatest Grand Finale Ever,” Yagnik says.
The ‘Greatest Finale Ever’ of ‘Indian Idol 12′ will telecast on Sony Entertainment Television on August 15th.
