A show cause notice issued to the junior supply officer of Food Department for serving cold tea instead of hot tea to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Khajuraho Airport was withdraw within few hours after political row.
Rajnagar sub divisional magistrate issued show cause notice to the junior supply officer for serving cold tea instead of hot tea to Chouhan at Khajuraho Airport on Monday.
Chouhan had a brief stopover at Khajuraho Airport while on way to Rewa from Gwalior. As per the general administrative protocol in practice the snacks and tea is kept ready to serve to the VVIP on brief stopover at the airports, the junior supply officer was assigned the task.
After political row over the issue, Chattarpur Collector Sandeep GR intervened and instructed the sub divisional magistrate (SDM) to cancel the show-cause notice served to the junior food controller.
Congress media incharge Narendra Saluja tweeted after the Congress opposed to the incident the collector has struck down the show cause notice issued by the SDM over serving cold tea to the chief minister.
MP BJP media incharge Lokendra Parashar tweeted Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan known for simplicity will never complain about the tea and is not possible. The sub divisional magistrate who served notice to the employee has to understand such actions of his are intolerable. The officers serve notice due to some grudge need to be cautious.
