Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he is immensely happy to see the smile of good health on the faces of children who have won the battle against heart disease. Chouhan was talking to the child beneficiaries of Mukhya Mantri Bal Hridaya Upchar Yojana in a programme held at Kuchaini campus in front of Metro Prime Hospital organised by District Administration, Red Cross Society and Health Department in Jabalpur today.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that public representatives, doctors and paramedical staff deserve thanks for their contribution in providing health benefits to children suffering from heart disease. We all should join such humanitarian programmes. This is the real worship of God. The Chief Minister inaugurated the programme with Kanya Pujan and lit the lamp.

CM asks the children, ‘dear children is everything fine now’

Chief Minister Chouhan got down from the stage and interacted with the children who have been cured through the Mukhya Mantri Bal Hridaya Upchar Yojana. The Chief Minister asked the children whether everything is fine now, whether the treatment was successful or not and whether they are facing any problem now. The children unanimously thanked him saying “Thank you Mama ji”. The children happily replied to Shri Chouhan.

Under the Mukhya Mantri Bal Hridaya Upchar Yojana, 199 children have received free heart treatment in Jabalpur district from the year 2021 till now. On the other hand, about 550 children of Jabalpur division have been treated under the scheme in Metro Prime Hospital.

CM felicitates doctors

Chief Minister Chouhan honoured Cardiologist Dr. K.L. Uma Maheshwar, Cardiologist Dr. Sudeep Chowdhary, Anesthesiologist Dr. Sunil Jain and Dr. Rajeev Baderia instrumental in treating the children. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was presented a memento by the Collector and President of District Red Cross Society Shri Saurabh Kumar Suman and the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Director of Metro Prime Hospital Saurabh Baderia.
