All schools, universities, and Anganwadi centers in Chattisgarh have been ordered closed. The order was issued by the State government in response to an increase in the number of cases. Along with closing the schools, it has agreed to promote all students, except those in Classes 10 and 12. The CGBSE 10th and 12th Board Exams, on the other hand, will be held on time and in an offline mode.
On March 21, 2021, the C’garh government issued an order to close schools and universities until further notice. Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, the State School Education Minister, said that the decision on the online exam is not yet finalized.
“All schools will be closed until further orders are issued, and all students, with the exception of class 10th and 12th, will be granted general promotion to the next class without having to sit for exams.” the order said.
“The board examinations for class 10th and 12th will be conducted offline in accordance with the schedule previously announced by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) while adhering to all coronavirus prevention guidelines issued by the Centre and state government from time to time,” the order added.
The school and college administrations have been urged to observe the coronavirus rules and notice.
Due to the increasing number of corona cases, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel presided over a high-level meeting. Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey has announced the government’s closures of schools, universities, and Anganwadi Centers.
The Chhattisgarh class 10th and 12th board examinations will be held offline. The government has yet to make a decision on other classes. CM Bhupesh Baghel has directed that mask, social distancing, and corona tests are increased. Separate rules for Holi and public events, such as weddings, funerals, and other public gatherings, will be announced in the next two days
