In Madhya Pradesh’s capital, Bhopal, One and a half years old kid was killed by the dogs. Gautam Nagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mukhtar Qureshi said today, “One-and-a-half year old Sheikh Raza was beaten to death by four or five dogs near the drain in the street near Gautam Nagar.

He said that Raza was playing near his house. At that time the dog fell on the child and screwed him badly. Qureshi told that the people around him heard him screaming and gathered after hearing the scream of the child. After this, his family took him to nearby government Hamidia Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

He said that kid was bitten so badly, that more than 200 injuries were there on his body. Qureshi told that the postmortem was handed over to the dead body. He said that the police is investigating the matter by lodging the case. He said that the district administration has provided immediate relief of Rs 10,000 to the deceased’s relatives.

In the meantime, in view of the incident Bhopal Municipal Corporation is planning to start the campaign to deal with the fear of stray dogs in the city. Bhopal Mayor Alok Sharma said, “It is a very sad incident. I have convened a meeting of officials of Bhopal Municipal Corporation. We will soon run a campaign to catch stray dogs.
