On the complaint of the Bank of Baroda, the CBI has registered a case against Rotopank Global Pvt Ltd, its directors Vikram Kothari, Sadhana Kothari and Rahul Kothari and unknown bank officials. ED also filed a case under PMLA.Rottomac Global Pvt Limited is outstanding with a total interest of 3695 rupees. Owners of Rotomac have debt of Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Overseas Bank, Union Bank of India, Allahabad Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce.

The joint team of CBI Lucknow and ED reached the residence of Vikram Kothari, located at 9.00 am in Tilaknagar on Monday morning. The five-member team has taken possession of passport and mobile phones of all the members of the Kothari family.Their laptops, iPhones and iPads are under investigation.
Apart from the home, the teams of the CBI are also investigating the Bihir based farmhouse and the city center office.According to the CBI spokesman, Vikram Kothari has not been arrested, he is only running the search operation. Many banks have debt of about 4 thousand crores on the companies of the business record. Some banks have issued an advertisement for auctioning of companies including Rotomac.
