Public Works Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava has said that all the roads of the Public Works Department in Bhopal Capital Region will be made pothole free in the next one month.
Bhargav was performing bhoomi-pujan of the four-lane road to be constructed from Piplani to bypass via Khajuri Kalan at a cost of Rs 25 crore 43 lakh and the upgradation of JK Road at a cost of nearly Rs 20 crore in Govindpura assembly constituency.
He announced to name the four -lane road after former Chief Minister Late Babulal Gaur.
He instructed to complete the construction of the roads by October 2023.
The programme was presided over by MLA Krishna Gaur.
Bhargava said that in the history of 70 years of the state, maximum road construction work has been done in the last three years. Economic development of the city, state and country is ensured only by strong infrastructure.
Bhargava said that in the current financial year, construction work of 267 km roads will be done in Bhopal district, in which 180 km roads are proposed to be strengthened and 130 km roads are proposed to be asphalted.
Bhargava said that former Chief Minister Late. Babulal Gaur was always devoted to the development of Bhopal city and Govindpura area and his tradition is being carried forward by the present MLA and his daughter-in-law Krishna Gaur.
Bhargava said that the State Government and the Public Works Department would provide full co-operation and support in the development of the area.
MLA Krishna Gaur said that the along with infrastructure, the way to the development of social harmony is being paved in Madhya Pradesh at a fast pace. She has a very old association with Govindpura area.
She said that she too is dedicated and committed to the development of the area like Late Gaur Sahib. She said that the strengthening of the J.K. road and the construction of a 4.20 kilometer four-lane road from Piplani B-sector to the new bypass road via Khajuri Kalan will make the movement of Govindpur residents easier. Along with this, economic activities will also increase in the area.
Gaur informed about the development works done in Govindpura area.
She said that works including C.M. Rise School, 11 Sanjeevani Clinics and Skill Park have been undertaken at a cost of Rs 100 crores.
She expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Chouhan and Public Works Minister Bhargava for the approval of the four-lane.
