Chief Minister Chouhan announced that a wonderful Lok of Ratangarh wali Maa would be made in Sevdha at a cost of Rs 5 crores.

He also announced to sanction an amount of Rs 5 crores for the development of Sevdha Nagar.

A new bus stand and municipality building will also be built there. CM Rise School will open in Sevdha this year.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a large gathering of women present at the Ladli Bahna Sammelan during Jan darshan at Sevdha in Datia district today.

He dedicated/performed bhoomi-pujan of development works worth Rs 159 crore for the development of the area.

Ladli Behnas tied rakhi to him and presented a huge rakhi. Chief Minister Chouhan welcomed the Behnas by showering flowers.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the country is moving fast under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

India’s pride Chandrayaan-3 is about to land on the surface of the moon. Continuous development is taking place in the country and the state. Excellent work has been done in all areas like roads, electricity, water, irrigation etc.

The government is working for the welfare of all sections. My aim is the development of the state and the welfare of the people.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that continuous work is being done to empower women in Madhya Pradesh. After Ladli Lakshmi, Kanya Vivah / Nikah Yojana, I am giving the women their due respect and rights through Ladli Bahna Yojana. Rs 1000 being given through the scheme, is not just an amount, but is their dignity and right.

At present, 1.25 lakh women are associated with the scheme, may more will be linked with the scheme. The amount of the scheme will be gradually increased to Rs.3000.

In order to empower women in the state, they have been given 50 percent reservation in the local elections. Today a large number of women are running the government in Panchayat and urban bodies. There are a large number of women in the police. Under the Sambal Yojana, women are given maternity assistance of Rs 16,000. In Madhya Pradesh, there is a provision of death sentence for rapists. Through the Livelihood Mission, we are making efforts that the income of every sister should be hiked to at least Rs 10,000 per month.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that welfare works for all sections are being done in the state. I am running the government to change the lives of the people. Along with free food grains, pucca houses are also being provided to the poor. Houses will be sanctioned to all eligible beneficiaries who have been left out in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, through CM Awas Yojana. All the poor are being given pattas to live.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that- “I will not let the love, blessings and unwavering trust shown by the huge community in Sevdha during the jan darshan today waver. I will do my best”. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that on the coming 27th, at 1 pm, he will talk to all the Ladli Behnas of the state through video conferencing from Bhopal and will also celebrate rakhi with them.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that everyone should educate their children and push them forward. The government is providing all possible facilities for their studies. Rs.4500 is given for purchase of cycle. Now the government is providing scooty to the toppers of class 12th. For this, a programme has been organized on 23rd August. Laptops are also being provided to meritorious students. Along with training under the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana, 12th class pass students will also be given a stipend of Rs. 8,000 per month. The government is paying the fees for higher education.

Union Aviation and Steel Minister J Scindia said that today Chief Minister Chouhan has ushered development and progress in Sevdha. Foundation /dedication of works worth Rs 159 crore was undertaken here. The foundation stone of the airport in Datia has also been laid. A bridge will be constructed over the Sindh river. Prime Minister Shri Modi and Chief Minister Chouhan are determined to empower each and every woman of the country and work is being done speedily in this direction. Ladli Behna Yojana is an example of empowerment of women.

Member of Parliament Sandhya Suman Rai also addressed the gathering. Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Housing Board Ashutosh Tiwari, Surendra Singh Budholia, public representatives and a large number of Ladli Behnas and people were present.
