State Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Govind Singh Rajput assumed charge on Monday after performed prayers as per rituals in his office room at the State Ministry.
Quality food should reach the last person in the last line, he said after assuming the charge of the ministry.
On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh State Warehousing and Logistics Corporation Chairman Rahul Singh Lodhi, Additional Chief Secretary Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Smita Bhardwaj, M.P. State Civil Supply Corporation Managing Director Tarun Pithode, Executive Director Dinesh Suhane, General Manager Sulekha Sudesh Uike, General Manager Dr. Priyanka Goyal, General Manager K.K.Srivastava, M.P. Additional Managing Director of State Warehousing and Logistics Corporation Trupti Srivastava, General Manager A.K. Dahayat, Chief Engineer Kushal Pavnani, General Manager O.P. Kushwaha, Regional Manager R.S. Solanki and other officials of the department were present.
After taking charge, while getting introduced to the officials, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput, in his address to the officials, stressed on the need to ensure that the full benefits of the government schemes under the Public Distribution System are being distributed to the last person in the queue.
Along with taking special care of the high quality of food grains, he said.
And instructions have been given to procure paddy and pay the farmers for their produce as soon as possible, he added.
Rajput said that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in the implementation of departmental schemes.
He said that any kind of complaint against the officials working at the field level will be taken seriously and strict action will be taken against the guilty officers.
