All big markets in Delhi are shut today as merchants are organizing a gigantic dissent against the fixing drive in the Capital.
About 10,000 merchants’ associations are participating in a super rally at Ramlila Maidan. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has called the rally wherein groups of dealers and also specialists’ affiliation are taking an interest.
Praveen Khandelwal, secretary-general of CAIT, said that “a large number of dealers” are taking an interest in the present challenge.

Shops in Connaught Place, Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazar, Chawri Bazar, Kamla Nagar, Karol Bagh, Kashmere Gate, Lajpat Nagar, Khan Market will stay shut.
There will be no business action in discount or retail advertises in Delhi today. Markets in Naraina, Kalkaji, Uttam Nagar, Rohini, Mayur Vihar, Preet Vihar will remain shut.
