Indian politics has been no less than a rollercoaster ride since the Uttar Pradesh alliance of Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP), both tied knots to defeat BJP.
Now with Priyanka Gandhi’s in politics as UP’s General Secretary for East region, from social media to reporters in press conferences have witnessed both, pleasant and appalling comments on the same.
However, the backlash by Bihar BJP leader, Vinod Jha who is also the minister of P.H.E.D was unsettling. Here’s what he had to say on Priyanka’s entry in active politics, “Priyanka Gandhi is very beautiful, but has no other talent that I can see, neither does she have the political experience.”
He included, “She must be what, 37-38, or maybe older, 44. Till this age, she has no political achievement. Yes, she is good-looking, God has given her that. But how much can she exploit that.”
Politics is ok, but definitely not these sexist remarks!
