Various VIPs met up for another Covid-19 mindfulness video in the midst of the flood of cases, including the Omicron variation, in the country. Entertainers Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, artists Shankar Mahadevan and Harshdeep Kaur, Indian Idol 12 champ Pawandeep Rajan and Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, highlighted in the music video, which was shared on Twitter by the UNICEF India handle.
The video started with Amitabh giving a significant message, “Mushkil waqt abhi khatam nahi hua, isliye zaroori hai aaj khud se ek vaada karna, ek pakka iraada karna – ki beete kal se jo bhi seekha hai humne, use dhyaan mein rakhkar hello there aage hai badhna (The difficult stretch isn’t finished, so it is essential to make a guarantee to yourself and resolve to push ahead remembering the illustrations gained from the past).”
In the video, there are scenes of individuals wearing covers, cleaning, getting immunized, cleaning up and keeping up with social removing. Priyanka, as well, is seen cleaning down the handrail of a flight of stairs with sanitiser to keep the Covid under control.
“Niyam nibhana hai aur lagwana hai teeka, crown ko harane ka bas yehi hai tareeka. Rehna hai taiyaar aur poora zimmedar (We need to adhere to the guidelines and get inoculated, this is the best way to beat the Covid. We must be prepared and totally dependable),” Amitabh said toward the finish of the video.
Priyanka shared the video on Twitter and said that she was glad to be a part of the initiative. “The fight isn’t over just yet! Covid-19 still looms large. Kudos to @UNICEFIndia for their continued efforts to help make a difference. Happy to add to such a positive message that will save lives!
