The meeting of the Council of Ministers, chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, began with the recitation of Vande Mataram at Mantralaya. In his address before the meeting, Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated his colleagues in the Cabinet for the good news coming from NITI Aayog. He said that NITI Aayog has released Multi Dimensional Poverty Index (National Multidimensional Poverty Index), according to which 15.94 percent i.e. one crore 36 lakh people in Madhya Pradesh have come out of the poverty line, this is a big achievement for Madhya Pradesh.

Result of overall impact of Central and State Government schemes

Chief Minister Chouhan said that this is the outcome of the overall impact of the benefits that one crore 36 lakh people got from the Central and State schemes. There has been a continuous positive change in the nutrition, lifestyle and food habits of the people, which has been possible only as a result of the programmes and schemes of the Central and State Government.

Collectors of 15 districts of the state to be honoured in Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme

Chief Minister Chouhan said that President Smt. Droupadi Murmu is honouring the collectors of 75 districts of the country in the Digital India Land Records Modernization programme, out of which 15 are from Madhya Pradesh. CM Chouhan congratulated the Revenue Department, the then Principal Secretary Revenue Manish Rastogi, all concerned District Collectors and the team engaged in digitization of revenue records for this achievement.
