Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the university is the strength of high level education, there is nothing private or government in it. High quality education is provided in all.
Dr. Yadav on Monday, M.P. He was inaugurating the portal created for data collection of private universities in the Private Universities Regulatory Commission.
Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the new education policy, education will no longer be a ritual, but will help in making the lives of the youth meaningful in true sense.
He said that today India is moving towards Digital India.
The problems of the universities can be solved easily with the help of portal created for data collection of private universities.
Minister Dr. Yadav said that universities play an important role in maintaining the fame, respect and credibility of education.
At present, there is a need to design such courses in universities where in collaboration with industries, they can give new direction to the students, he said.
Private universities can contribute significantly in increasing the prestige of the state, he said.
M.P. Private University Regulatory Commission chairman Prof. Bharat Sharan Singh said that it is a matter of pleasure for us that Madhya Pradesh’s GER, which was 24 percent, has now become 27.12 percent at par with the national parameter.
He said that the launch of the portal would prove helpful not only for the university but also for the commission.
