Windies skipper hits six sixes
Kieron Pollard smashed six sixes in one over against Akila Dananjaya of Sri Lanka, the Trinidadian cricketer has joined a special group of batsmen who have hit six sixes in a single over in international cricket.
Pollard, in a moment of craziness, took over the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. In the sixth over, he smacked spinner Akila Dananjaya all over the place. Dananjaya had picked a hat-trick in his prior over before Pollard entered at the crease. The Windies captain, on the other hand, was unbothered and targeted the Sri Lankan spinner from the very first ball.
After striking the sixth six, he turned to the dressing room and bowed to his teammates as they stood up and cheered their skipper’s master class.
Pollard’s insanity caused a Twitter storm. Members of the cricket community, his astounding followers, and his IPL franchise, the Mumbai Indians, appreciated his contributions and paid tribute to his spectacular performance.
