Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the visit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to Madhya Pradesh is a matter of great honour.
Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for Sant Ravidas Ji’s temple at Badtooma, Sagar, on August 12.
He was addressing the Cabinet Meeting here today. The Cabinet began with “Vande Mataram.”
A grand and divine temple of Sant Shiromani Sant Ravidas Ji will be constructed. This will symbolise harmony. The demand for the construction of Sant Ravidas Ji’s temple came from the devotees at a program held in Sagar on Sant Ravidas Ji’s birth anniversary.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the design of the temple has been finalized. The construction work will begin with the ground-breaking ceremony. This temple construction project is unique in itself. Since Sant Shiromani Ravidas Ji always preached sacredness of selfless action, a Global Skill Center will also be constructed.
Satellite town at Amarkantak
The Chief Minister said that a large number of tourists visit Amarkantak. The Mother Narmada provides the state with electricity, water, and irrigation resources and therefore worshipped as Godess. The development of Amarkantak assumes importance. To ensure the flow of the Narmada River continues, a any construction in the upper region of Amarkantak will be avoided. Instead, a satellite town will be established in the lower region, on the land to be earmarked by the government. This town will include hotels, motels and restaurants.
Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated on August 27
The Chief Minister said that the people are enthusiastically participating in the road shows organized at various locations. This is reflective of satisfaction and joy. The results of welfare and development projects are evident. A special program will be organized for Ladli Bahna on August 27, three days before Raksha Bandhan.
