Extending greetings to more than 5 thousand 500 teachers appointed in the primary schools of the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that you have the responsibility of shaping the future generation of India, molding them into modernity and giving them a new direction.
The state government deserves praise for the recruitment of about 50 thousand teachers in the state in the last three years.
Prime Minister Modi was addressing the newly appointed teachers by virtually joining the programme organised at the Government Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School for training-cum-orientation and handing over the felicitation letters to the newly recruited teachers.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also inspired the newly appointed teachers and handed them felicitation letters. Minister Tribal Affairs Department Meena Singh and Minister of State for School Education Inder Singh Parmar attended the programme.
Special efforts made for studies in mother tongue
Prime Minister Modi said that the newly appointed teachers are going to fulfill the crucial responsibility of implementing the National Education Policy.

A new curriculum has also been prepared in the field of primary education. Special efforts have been made regarding education in mother tongue.
In order to ensure social justice, arrangements have been made for students who do not know English to study in their mother tongue.
There is an emphasis on books in regional languages in the curriculum. This will become the basis of a big change in the education system of the country.
Newly appointed teachers should continue the trend of learning
Congratulating the newly appointed teachers, Prime Minister Modi said that all of you have reached here through hard work, you should continue with the tendency to keep learning.
The government has prepared the online learning platform IGOT Karmayougi. Teachers should try to take maximum advantage of this facility.
New initiatives in the fields of education, skill development and employment
Prime Minister Modi said that today many financial initiatives are being taken in the country with far-reaching policies and decisions at all the three levels of education, skill development and employment. PM Vishwakarma Yojana was announced on this 15th August.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana has been formulated to hone the traditional skills of our Vishwakarmas Charioteers i.e. craftsmen according to the needs of the 21st century.
About 13 thousand crore rupees will be spent on this. Every kind of assistance will be given to the families associated with 18 different types of skills, so that the youths will get opportunities to enhance their skills.
Every sector of the country is getting strength
Prime Minister Modi said that when decisions are taken with positive thinking, right intention, full devotion, the whole atmosphere is filled with positivity.

Prime Minister Modi said that today all the money entitled to the poor is directly reaching their accounts. The government is able to spend more than before on the welfare of the poor.
Employment opportunities have been created in every nook and corner of the country with the investment made on a large scale. Since the year 2014, five lakh new common service centres have been set up in the villages of the country, which are providing employment to many people.

Becoming a teacher is not an ordinary job, teachers do the work sculping human beings. You worry about the students, it is my job to take care for the future of all of you. While greeting the newly appointed teachers, CM Shri Chouhan said that all of you are my nephews and nieces and we have a bond of love and affection. I have a feeling of respect for you as you assume the responsibility of a teacher, i.e. Guru. The meaning of Guru is to lead from darkness to light. Guru is that potter who can make an idol out of clay as he wishes. You can shape the children the way you want. You have the responsibility of shaping the future of the generations to come.
CM Chouhan inspires teachers with the contexts of Adipurush Shankaracharya, Swami Vivekananda and Bhagavad Gita
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Adipurush Shankaracharya ji had said that education is what brings liberation. The meaning of liberation is that which makes us fit to live in this world, that is education give us knowledge, skills and values of citizenship, that is education. Swami Vivekananda has been my inspiration. He used to say that education is that which makes a man a human. Human means to be characterful, honest, well-mannered, industrious, patriotic and philanthropic and the one who makes the world better is a human. CM Chouhan urged the newly appointed teachers to develop their personality according to the qualities of a Satwik (virtuous) worker mentioned in Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
Consistency between words and deeds is necessary
Remembering his teacher Ratanchandra Jain, Chief Minister Chouhan said that whatever I am today, all the credit goes to my Guru Jain. He honed our capabilities with limited resources. As a teacher, it is your responsibility to pass on the accumulated knowledge to the next generation, to give them the skills and values of citizenship. To discharge this responsibility properly, it is necessary that your conduct and behaviour are appropriate. Mentioning an incident of Mahatma Gandhi in this regard, he said that first of all we have to adopt the kind of behaviour which we expect from our children. Students and their parents will follow you only if there is consistency in words and deeds. Chief Minister Chouhan said that I do not run the government, I run the family. We are all one family.
Make yoga, exercise, meditation a part of the routine
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the newly appointed teachers should constantly try to improve and innovate in their work. Always be happy, be stress free, make morning yoga, exercise, meditation a part of your daily routine. This will boost efficiency and you will give better results by balancing your family and official work and your life will also become more enjoyable.
Newly appointed teachers should work diligently with dedication
Minister Tribal Affairs Department Meena Singh greeted and extended good wishes to the newly appointed teachers. Minister of State for School Education Inder Singh Parmar said that teachers make a significant contribution in building the society, country and state. It is expected that the newly appointed teachers will work with diligence and dedication to take the children of the state forward.
Chief Minister Chouhan gave appointment congratulation letters to 5 thousand 580 newly appointed teachers in the session 2023-24. CM Chouhan handed over felicitation letters to one participant each from one district of each division in the programme. CM Chouhan welcomed the newly appointed teachers who attended the programme by showering flowers and inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and performing Kanya Pujan. A melodious rendition of the song “Hum Shikshak Hain –Hum Shiksha Ki Tasveer Badal Denge” was given in the programme.
